December 16th, 6:30pm 2014, Hope Justman, This power point presentation will tell how she first came to travel this remote road and how following it was like stepping back into the 19th century and seeing the China that had been described in travel books of that era. She will compare slides of her 2013 trip with slides of her original trip, which show the last days of traditional China before it vanished forever. Hope has been tracking down and hiking the ancient imperial flagstone roads of China since 1999. The first road she retraced was the Southwestern Silk Road, starting in Chengdu and running through Sichuan and Yunnan provinces southwest to Burma. Her talk will be on how she first discovered this road and how it has changed in the last fourteen years. Next she retraced the Road to Shu which began in Chengdu and headed northeast through Sichuan and Shaanxi to Xi’an, the former capital. The final road she is still in the process of tracing is the Tea Road which proceeded west from Yaan in Sichuan to Lhasa in Tibet. She has written a guidebook called Hiking China’s Old Road to Shu which is available on Amazon. She has also led two tours of the Road to Shu in 2011 and 2013. Ever since Deng Xiaoping decided that China would remain politically communist while becoming economically capitalist, China’s transformation has been extraordinary. The overnight modernization of her cities has been well documented, but the equally massive changes in the countryside have received less attention. In 1999 when our speaker first hiked along an ancient flagstone highway in the mountains of Yunnan province, the countryside hadn’t changed for hundreds of years. The houses were all traditional sun-dried brick structures with graceful lines, tile roofs, and corn cobs hanging under the eaves. When she retuned fourteen years later in March of 2013, almost every traditional home had been replaced by a two-story concrete structure, ungainly at best and garish at worst. Mr. Lang has been a UAP (Unidentified Arial Phenomena) Researcher and investigator since the early 1990s. He served as STAR Team Manager and SIP Project Coordinator from the beginning of the project in February 2009 until it ended in of January 2010, which at that time was the most advanced non-government rapid response UAP investigative team in the world. In 2008 Mr. Lang was featured in the DISCOVERY CHANNEL TV series "UFOs over Earth" serving as one of the lead investigators in the shows filmed in Fayetteville, North Carolina and Bucks County, Pennsylvania . In 2001 Mr. Lang was a reserve law enforcement officer in Virginia. Perhaps its most important single, unified body of scientific knowledge remains its most controversial. The common functioning principle unifying this science, which its pioneering founder, Dr. Wilhelm Reich, named Orgonomy, is the study of how energy functions in the living and the non-living realms. Orgonomy offers us groundbreaking applications in fields as diverse as biology, psychology, meteorology, cancer research, sociology, human sexuality, child rearing, political science and ufology, among other areas of study. But Orgonomy was not well received into the times it was born. Some of its key findings challenged the basic precepts and physical laws our existing scientific order is built upon, while it’s bio-energetically based critique of mystical and mechanical thinking would have made it anathema to the majority of people in Western culture. So, it should not surprise anyone to learn that Orgonomy has been ignored, distorted, attacked and confounded since it was first codified, by both the scientific mainstream and by establishment thinking. Wilhelm Reich and UFOs: Cloud Busting and the Origin of Reich’s Interest in Unidentified Flying Objects

One of ufology’s most significant chapters remains one of its least known. In the early nineteen fifties Dr. Wilhelm Reich developed the cloudbuster, a simple yet effective apparatus which, when properly employed, was and remains capable of altering energetic patterns in the atmosphere, and as a result, the weather itself. The most controversial aspect of this revolutionary scientific undertaking was that it attracted the attention and appearance of UFOs. This illustrated talk reviews the development of this remarkable technology, the scientific principles that govern it, and the specifics of Reich’s cloudbusting experiments in the northeastern State of Maine in 1953, and the application of this technology in the southwestern State of Arizona the following year. Dr. Reich and his scientific colleagues carefully documented the nature of the UFO activity their cloudbusting operations generated and the content of these talks The material presented in these talks is drawn from Dr. Reich’s writings and scientific records of the period, as well as through extensive interviews with Dr. Elsworth F. Baker, his long-time first assistant, his daughter Eva Reich, and a handful of other colleagues who worked by his side throughout this period. Ogburn's lecture will be composed of some history and legends on Atlantis such as Plato's dialogues on Atlantis in his books, Timaeus and Critias, plus some images of various artists' renditions of the sacred architecture and city of Atlantis found on the Internet, plus some examples of ancient existing sacred architecture such as the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx and the Osirian Temple at Abydos, and the Gateway of the Sun in Peru, including the ruins at Puma Punku, (and other ancient sacred architecture) which "may" have been built during Atlantean times. Jerry Kroth, Ph.D. a professor from Santa Clara University will be speaking on the topic from his latest book, Aliens and Man: a synopsis of facts and beliefs (New York: Algora). This is a comprehensive survey of all the "best evidence" from archeology, mythology, UFOs, crop circles, and even looks at biological evidence. It is a multi-media presentation and takes from 40-60 minutes. Jerry is an Associate Professor Emeritus in the graduate counseling psychology program at Santa Clara University in California. His academic assignments included courses in psychotherapy and personality theory, dreamwork and research methods. Dr. Kroth has an abiding therapeutic interest in working with dreams, personal oracles and the applications of dream theory to psychohistory and collective psychology. Jerry is also a member of the International Psychohistorical Association and a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post. Dr. Kroth’s twelve prior books were in the areas of counseling, psychology, child sexual abuse, learning disorders, metapsychology, transpersonal psychology and research methodology. In addition, he has written and presented over 75 papers on anxiety, child development, mass psychology, synchronicity, experimental studies of the dream process, the psychology of propaganda and collective psychology. February 18th 2014, The Mystic Symbol, Mark of the Michigan Mound Builders, by Wayne N. May Film. A documentary based on the book "The Mystic Symbol" by Henrietta Mertz . This film recounts an archeological nightmare that continues to this day, casting the Michigan Plate discoveries as fraudulent artifacts and ignoring the historical records of the mound building culture. These film details the discovery of ancient middle east writing symbols similar or identical to the writing found on these Michigan plates. DNA testing from burial mounds of the Great Lakes Native population begs the question, have we buried parts of our American history in favor of the paradigm of the time, known as "Manifest Destiny", which deliberately ignored historical information, sacrificing clues to a much richer and more interesting history about the native populations in America before 1492.
